The Honeywell Technologies China Innovation Center opened in Pudong on Sept 1, strengthening the company's localization and innovation efforts in China.

Located in Zhangjiang Science City, the center houses the Honeywell Technologies Experience Center (HTEC), the Honeywell User Experience Design Studio and an innovation workshop. The HTEC is Honeywell Technologies' first new global experience center since it became an independent company focusing on automation.

The center showcases technologies and applications across 12 scenarios in energy, smart manufacturing, and buildings and infrastructure, while supporting technology validation and ecosystem co-creation.

It has joined Pudong's Group Open Innovation (GOI) initiative, which brings together 112 leading companies from 12 countries and 13 industries. They have so far supported more than 8,800 small- and medium-sized enterprises and facilitated over 4,400 technology matchmaking and validation projects.

Honeywell moved its China headquarters to Pudong in 2003 and established its China R&D center there in 2004. After more than 90 years in the country and over 20 years in Pudong, it continues to bring global innovation resources and advanced technologies to China while deepening its presence in Pudong.
